Biosafety Measures

Grounded on workplace risks assessments and based on the level of exposure of workers to biological risks, we develop and implement biosafety measures for our clients, pursuant to the best practices and standards in occupational health and safety (OH&S). Our team has a deep understanding of preventive measures and recommendations of national authorities for adjusting public health and social measures in the context of prevalent respiratory infections. For high-risk companies, employers may undertake preventive and protective measures, such as engineering and administrative controls and provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) and clothing for occupational safety and health and infection prevention and control.

The biosecurity measures defined by Securitas Consulting and our tailored plans of action are duly incorporated into organizations’ occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMSs) in accordance with the PDCA (plan–do–check–act) cycle. Additionally, we provide training to our clients' teams aimed at ensuring the effective implementation of biosafety measures and focused action plans. The firm’s consulting service in this area ensures compliance with the guidelines specified in current biosafety-related regulations, OH&S technical rules, as well as the established national and international standards to contain and mitigate work-related biological risk exposure.
